Listening to Boscombe

Tom with Boscombe East and Pokesdown Councillors George Farquhar and Eleanor Connolly - and George’s dog Billy!

Your Labour parliamentary candidate Tom hosted a street stall on the pedestrian precinct in the heart of Boscombe. Alongside local Labour councillors George Farquhar and Eleanor Connolly, and several of your neighbours (the volunteers who make up Bournemouth Labour), the street stall listened to people walking along the street about the issues that matter to them.

Tom Hayes, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for Bournemouth East, said: “We have knocked on over 40,000 doors in the last fifteen months because we want to listen to people directly. Hosting our street stall in Boscombe was an important part of our listening exercise. Too many politicians spend too much time talking about themselves and promising the unachievable. I want to set a plan, with you, which fixes our problems and can be realistically achieved.”
