I was a council deputy leader and councillor for nearly ten years and I am the chief executive of domestic abuse and mental health services.
We’re all feeling the pinch and I bring real experiences. I grew up caring for disabled parents in run-down council housing and funded myself through university by working several retail jobs at the same time.
